Nice work, I like this one more than the other as it is more subtle.
Your work has great atmosphere and mystery. The subtle colors in the sky are moody.

What is she carrying? Are these 2 pieces today from a project, story illustration?
The other one reminds me of Francis Bacon's Popes...

and yes, they are both illustrations. For "The Keep" by F. Paul Wilson =3 That book just keep haunting me ( In a remote fortress in Transylvanian Alps a vampire is killing off a group of IIWW nazis - Best.Premise.Ever. *__* at least for the simple minded horror-geeks like myself..)
I suggested the topic to see if anybody here shares my fascination :T
and, naturally, to find some motivation to draw it myself.

Why does she look soo worried with that big sword in hand?
Do you ever use real paint? This would be nice with oils.
