Hey guys!
I haven't been able to post anything in quite some time due to computer problems but here's another attempt at a portrait. Still struggling with parts so if anyone has any advice on where to go with this it would be greatly appreciated.

Getting the glasses symmetrical will go a long way towards making it realistic. Any time there's something artificial like that in a portrait you want to get it exactly right!

Here's a great tutorial, you might find the hair bit especially helpful (I did): http://www.3dtotal.com//team/Tutorials_3/Making_of_funfair/funfair_01.php

Try using a hard brush for the base and then going over that with a softer brush.
