Seeing the progression is very cool - Is he looking down? the skull is a bit large at the back ( i don't know how to put it in words ), keep at this man!

Thanks! Yeah, his head is tilted down and his eyes are closed. The big head is intentional actually, he's kind of an egghead scientist type character in a graphic novel I'm working on.
