cool man. you should really try a hard edged brush, constant width, and opacity controlled by pressure. it's surprisingly more efficient, and the results look more painterly.

Ah just tried it your right. very nice effect. How do I go about smoothing it out. whats the best approach. Smudge is a bit intensive on large areas.
