Rough Colour and BG: Typical steppes background, the mountains in the rear topped with snow and a snaking river, colours are going to have to be richer.. more to come, food calls me.
I'm liking this =) the armor(around neck and shoulders) is such a great design, it's very intriguing how the sharp angular lines contrast with the more traditional look and the background to be [ is the torso area of the armor some sort of softer ,more natural material? it would be great to incorporate texture and contrast that way]
I got the idea for those shapes from a medieval jousting suit, there's a neck protector on one side that a bit rounder than this, so I just elaborated on the design a bit, but it does look awesome, can't wait to finish this, There's a bit of bamboo and flax material that's going to go into the suit, around the joints and torso, maybe a big red sash for his waist, otherwise it'd be too clumsy looking, he already looks stiff as hell, the Yak my dear, is the only way to go! =)
I'm off to go get some chicken tika and a headache tablet, I did the dishes and now my head hurts, proves house holding is bad for a man, lol, Gonna jump back into this either in 30 minutes or tomorrow morning, my head is pounding.
a giant striped spider is blocking my exit from the house...
about as big as my hand.. [o_o] ..I sprayed it with DOOM and it only appeared mildly irritated with me and then went into the garage, I am now in FEAR... > I almost touched it by accident when I was about to unlock the garage trellar, uh - I suppose it had a big fright as well, it jumped when i jumped, I couldn't hear it yelling over my yells though, I ran like a skipping school girl to the living room and swore a bit..
are striped huge spider poisonous? it's hairy as well, like a skinny tarantula... =(
