I'd say CD more soo but it may be do to the sizing

I thought of a CD cover too first. Mainly because of it's size but also because that a decorative font such as that is common in CD covers. But still looks good.
Thanx guys ,but i wasn't going for any specific cover. I used that type face to bring texture and rhythm to the piece.

Nice. I'd go in and paint over some of the font, to make it more unique. For example, the two duplicate lowercase A's give away that it's a font.
