A pretty darn long time on this, It's for a school project about the progression of Japanese art (except for the samurai), so I copied a some Japanese art and tossed it in here.

First panels being traditional stuff

very nice, you mind sharing how you do those cloud type backgrounds with me? are you using a spraycan type of a thing?

For those backgrounds i use one of those squarish looking brushes in photoshop, they look like rectangles with a lot of space missing on the inside, sort of like a paint brush, and then set it the angle jitter to "direction" and to opacity control.

and then just mess around on it.
