I did this with acrylics. Maybe it took two hours, not counting drying times.

It is a character I made who is half alien and visiting Iran, but it kind of looks like someone from the planet where the Star Wars characters hung out while their engine got fixed, so it's on topic.

Nice work. You don't have to stretch the rationale, there's no requirement to be on topic, except on Sunday competitions.

SOOO COOOL! Have you ever messed around with Artrage 2.5 or Corel Painter X? Those both have realistic dimensional style brushes that look like oils and acrylics. If you haven't then you should check'em out I think you'd get a kick out of'em. (google-artrage or painter x + rapidshare for [wink]trial versions)

I have Art Rage. I'll use it for the cartoon one as I have not used it for a while. I think I tried to install Painter X once, but something went wrong and I haven't tried since.
