"Guide the sleeping pirate through the treacherous wattery maze to his pirate lair."
LOL, thanks! You make me feel like I'm back in elementary school sometimes! :)
Yeah, this is my current job, these kind of puzzles and comics.
For freelance I have been drawing realistic trees and bushes.
Even though I am educated in forestry it's still a challenge.
But great for my portfolio, something else than monsters and heroes,
and puzzles and mazes.
Where could we see some more of your stuff?
You're pieces are so fun and pretty unique, I want some for my youngest!
She was sitting at my side last night saying, "Can I do it? Let me do it!"
Kids can be the best audience and art appreciators, but they're usually quickly onto something else more exciting. Actually, my kids would love to be in on this place, they love to hear what the subject of the day is and see what everybody's done, in contrast to my piece of coarse!
They always want to see Daisey Owl to, the humor appears to go a bit over their heads, but they love the charecters.
Anyways Cyclops, where can I download some of your coloring books or kids projects?
BTW, it doesn't look like there is a safe route for this ship with all those monsters in the water!
Does you country have so many mythical water creatures? :)
Thank you for the comment Andrew, how old is your daughter?
Umm, nothing online yet, and the other stuff I'm making has to wait until after it gets published in Norway. Then I will put it online somewhere.
I'm not making books yet but some puzzels and comics first, We might do a childrens mag in a few years, but I can't do that on my own.
They have a arts project here in Hamar which is for parents and their children, I really like that idea, just I don't have kids.
Thanks for letting me know, I will keep in mind to make some puzzles now and then. Right now I am pushing for a deadline, so I don't have so much time for DSG.
The route I had in mind goes to the right between the rocks, then you go down between the sharp rocks and the shark. Then you end up right at the entrance. right?
These myhical monsters don't come from any country, they come from my imagination :)
I've got 3 daughters, the one that's 4 wanted to do the maze and see your other works!
Then I've got an 11 year old and a 13 year old. They were both impressed to and crowded in on me and the 4 year old to browse your pieces, they all/wee all think they're cool! I'd like to see something that you've done that you're REALLY proud of, like a portpolio piece...?
Anyways, I feel kindred to you living in Norway, being of some Norwegian decent and all! :)
Inside I long for the fiords!
I haven't made a portfolio yet, prolly should start about last month. I will still make "that stuff I am really proud of". An oppertunity has opened up for me to make a childrens book and get it published next year, That'll be fun, I still have very few ideas of what I would want to make and stuff.
My friends always told me I was a viking and belonged in Scandinavia rather then Holland.
I think it turned they were right. I don't pillage coastal settlement though.
