This gravitates more towards snow than to storm, no disrespect.
I lived in arctic Norway the last two winters, i've been in some bad wheather. There would be much more snow blown to the poles and the rock would totally covered. You might not be able to see the forest at that distance, but you also might. Also the sky would be more gray than blue. Except when temperatures drop below -20 then everything is so crisp and clear, and the colors are very bright. I really should post a sketch on this topic.
Sad Cyclops:
I agree, that's why I doubted if it should be called as a storm. I live in Finland, not too many big snowstorms around here, but believe I understand what you're talking about. I think it looks like it has already been a few days since the real storm occurred, rather than like the storm itself.
I assume that with a rock you mean the head of a pole? The fence is meant to be half-buried in the snow, and it's a bit broken too. Most of the snow has hardened, but there is a small, soft layer on the top.
...I wish I hadn't forgotten to add the frost to the poles. They look too clean. Also, as you said, there should be more snow on them.
I'll try to remember those next time, thanks for the critique. ^^
Yes I wondered if Miaku was a Finnish nickname, cuz I have some Finnish friends that have their nickname end with an u. I have been all the way up in Mounio, is't freezing cold up there, been to Rovaniemi too. I visited Kilpisjarvi many many time, we pass there when we would to the north of Norway over Finland.
