Description: The hat might not be too impressive, but at least it's there.

I hope it looks decent, I've never been that good with side-profiles. ^^'

Yes, beautiful atmosphere. The soft lighting gives the final touch to the fog. :)

That is a really appealing style. Very soft. It's hard to work in green without it looking gross, but you pulled it off.

>SMACKS< Helix, I think Miaku is a lay not a man.

If I'm wrong then you can come and smack me for my comment Miaku, but this definately has a womans touch.
The hair is fabulous and the face is so expressive, and everyone agree's he atmosphere is effective.
Got a question for you, do you work in layers?

Oooooh, if I could edit I would. She's not a lay, she's a Lady. Phew.....

Andrew:
That's right, I'm a female. ^^ It's okay though, I don't mind if I'm mistaken as a boy.

To answer your question: Most of the time I use a lot of layers, because that way I can try different things easily (and get rid of the layer if I don't like the result).
This one has...*checks*...52 layers. A bit more than I thought. oO'

OMG, 52 layers? How do you keep track of them all?
I asked because it's obvious you'd need layers to get the space and overlaying rain etc, but the atmosphere is nicely constant across the layers.
Looks like you use a limited pallet, I guess that helps.
Is there a story behind/within this piece?

Helix: It's okay, really. x3

Brewin: Thanks. ^^

Andrew:
Limited palette doesn't have anything to do with it, actually, I just happened to use colours like that.
It's not too hard to remember what each layer contains, since you can always organize them in folders (or name them, but I'm too lazy for that), or merge them if they're too much to handle. I't can be quite irritating if you forget, tho.
And, the pic doesn't have one story that is carved in stone, it's more like the result of random thoughts and feelings. I had no idea it would turn out like this when I started drawing.

a little belated, but im impressed by the 52 layers, i only recently found out how many layers people had been using, i think the most layer ive ever used, which was the girl with the gun and such, was like 17

I should use more tho
