Nice skin tones and I like the way you've done the hair. The 'stash' is good!

Yes,
I've been told by my friends I zone out, I cant hear them or see them move in the room where I am.
My friend took a photo of me once drawing and it looked like I was going to kill the paper. =O

Or I get so into it I start making sound effects, as if I was there and the environment was active...weird, i know! =D

Not wierd, I'm sure we all do dat. I stick my tongue out the side of my mouth when I'm really concentrating and my eyes bulg out focusing.
