I just couldn't get the form down on this. Especially the arm and hand. So I kinda just scribbled it in for now. I might actually restart this and finish it I dunno
the form on this is so basic so it was really frustrating me that I wasn't getting it right that is why I ended up scribbling it
I like how the earth turned out though (which is partly a photo partly drawing)
I think I want to take figure drawing classes again they really help
Plus I get to see hot naked women for the most part
The idea is great!, but his arm is as long as his body...
the key here is depicting proportion and weight, also, depth.
so if you get the proportion right, all you have to do after that is
paint the tone's, add muscle and tensed skin, the way bone sits under the
flesh, and make sure the light source for your planet illuminates the demon from the same angle and brightness.
if your light source is correct, the way the light flows over tissue and musculature will look natural.
Ya I know the arm is long and the hand sucks
I was getting so frustrated with this one that why it ended up being just a scibble
some people said they thought it worked, I see why they like it but it is still not right
I plan to finish it but I am gunna start all over and just use this as a reference point of what I genrealy want.
I am trying to go back to the basics so to speak and do like fast rough sketches all the time
I have a file on my desktop of a huge blank photoshop file.
I been doodeling when bored or frustrated.
