It makes much more sense after the explanation, thanks. The lights fooled me to think he was on the floor(?) that is visible from this angle, kneeing or sitting, but if he is running I suppose he is behind it.
Looks better this way. :3

I suppose you could see it either way, he could be running, or there could be a sudden gust of air, representing the smoke spirit above him! whoohoo!

I wish I would think more about what I draw and paint before I actually do it/finish it! sheesh! =P
