This is good Rubbin,

Old Kirk's flab is showing and he looks like he's about to violate the prime directive, the naughty bugger! =D

I like the tone, and his mouth area is almost spot on. (I think I have the same refference!)
areas I'm looking at right now on your image...

- highlighting is a bit soft on the hair, he's a greasy man!
- skin needs a bit of something, mebbe a little sharpness to bring the nose out.
