~30 minutes.

A molecule of matter combining with a complimentary molecule of antimatter, creating a reaction greater than any other known to man.

...well, I hope you didn't take offence when I said fiction. I was just yanking your chain.

Nice work shading the spheres. It's all about understanding light.

Thanks!

Fiction? Antimatter has been sucessfully created in supercolliders, with an estimated cost of 3.5 billion dollars per gram. Of course, my rendering is completely fictional, as I have no idea what either would actually look like...

This site needs a 'Preview' feature so I can see what was posted seconds before I hit the Submit button.

Thanks! It's one of the few things I'm decent at shading.

You sure that's not 3.5 billion dollars per particle? I think a gram is like enough to destroy the planet or something ridiculous like that.

" the cost of producing 1 µg of antimatter is $62.5 million. "

So Orange's estimate seems likely, but theory's are theory's, applying linear cost over time means that it could also be wildly out, because of the missing variable being the production techniques improvement over time.
