Awesome, he should be duck taping those windows!
How long do you think he has if he can see the blast out his window?
Time enough to bend over and kiss his ass good bye?
I assume, if the nuclear bomb is "visible" then it's within +/- 50 Kilometres which means the initial force of the blast should take anywhere between 2 minutes and 30 seconds to reach her, blow the blinds into tatters, vortex her room like a blender, suck her out leave her as a toastie about a *minute after that. ( *if within heat wave range. )
I also assume that wasn't a serious question... LOL
I wonder if anyone in a position of importance has ever said,
"You know, the Nukes just don't cause enough damage. We need something bigger!"
...There was a weapon in Star Trek Voyager that would destroy whole quadrants of the galaxy... I'll bet researchers are quietly trying to create that technology as we speak!
You know, We haven't reached our limits... One day, our children will have to sit with the realisation of just that which you just mentioned, it's sad, but inevitably the one thing that might put us forward another step in the ladder we keep climbing as a race... Think about it, every time there's been a massive leap in technology it's been because of war and the natural derivatives of it... The internet, a communication device/system... is just one of those many things... the moment anything goes military there';s mass funding and quick R&D... I think the messy approach of a nuke is ultimately flawed and will be replaced by cleaner tech. that will kill you, your family and all the pets but leave the fridge raid able... hmmm.
You have a strong idea to work with in this one. I think that with some changes to your composition you can make it a lot better. There is something about peeping thru blinds which cause suspense. Why not limit the viewer. Framing this tighter would bring more attention to the action and key out the less important things. Keep it up.
I forget what it's called, but there's a composition technique, where you split the frame into a 3x3 grid, and align the main elements roughly around the inner rectangle. Like tic tac toe.
It's a rigid way of working, but as a general rule it makes for some nice layouts.
