Description: Hey! Finally had enough time to do a quick sketch!!!

20 minutes of drawing and rudimentary shading.

I was studying some storyboard design techniques and I just tried this for the fun of it, hope it appeals to someone! =D

Yeah. I can see by these strokes that you work real efficiently.

Haha! Sweet Snips, Thanks for the complement! (^^,)

Ben...was that Sarcasm?...... =D haha!
No seriously, how do you mean?

I try and be efficient, really I do, but sometimes, like with the eye's I lose plot and fuck around endlessly.

Not sarcastic at all. There are very few strokes in this, but it still gets the image across. Perfect style for storyboards. 9 stars.

Oh, ok.. =)

I usually draw with minimal strokes when I use reference, this one was one of my party photo's on my wall,
but without reference, I tend to give the image multiple lines to strengthen the shape when there is no
existing shape to confirm my pose/expression.

This should be given a 6, if that at all. it's not good work, but fast messy work.

I appreciate your perceptions of my posts, it's a welcome feeling having someone show genuine interest in my work.

Thank you Snips,

I actually just checked out the other drawings to see what you guys mean,
and even some of the unreferenced work looks minimal...wow, I must be improving!

ROX MY SOX!! =D

Nice sketch, but a bit unfinished maybe?
Personally, I think the car is a distraction.
Or is this a commentary about inhaling exhaust? :)
I'd like to see it fade to black where the car is and have the drawing focus on you and your smoke.

Thanks for all the comments guys! I feel really flattered! =D

RIPPLE: True, now that I look at it, I see the car is the distraction, at first I wanted it to be a car doing a burnout, and now, well, i'll fix it and re-post soon.
As always, thank you for your insightful comments and critique, and the fact that you actually try and understand the image, BRAVO! =)
