i relaized that the right side of her jacket in my other upload got deleted when i deleted my layer with the basic outline, and it bothered me so i fixed it, Ben can you delete the other one?

yeah i agree with Ben, i think the edges could do with being a little crisper. but that said the whole thing looks great!

at first when you use hard brushes, you may feel like it's not smooth enough, but if you just go with it and stay loose, you end up with much more definition

this is my favorite face i've seen from you so far. something about the mouth is really nice..soft and subtle, i like it. i dont know anything about brushes but if it's the soft edge that made her look like she's glowing, i'm down with it on this one.

yeah i started using a soft brush just to get the shading on her curves to look right, and on the wrinkles, but yeah i shoulda used a harder brush more on everything else

on your next sketch, try and go the whole sketch with a hard brush, then use the soft if you think you still need it. just to see what happens

nice job with the wrinkles in the clothes, though. soft is definitely good for cloth shading
