awsome, i was about to say if that was photoshop it had a lot of shape, i would use zbrush to do this topic also but i still have absolutly no idea how to use it, still need to read the tutorials 5 stars

I just downloaded a trial version of ZBrush to see what you were talking about. I think it would be quicker for me to make a real spear than try to make one in that program. Lucky i have a bro who's learning 3D modelling. I'll tell him to learn it.

ZBrush is great for details, not so much for modelling. I made the base mesh in 3dsmax, then took it into zbrush to refine it, rough it up, put the laces on it, and paint it.

yeah i still need to read up and watch more tutorials, all i know how to do right now is how to make a face out of a ball
