So I'm thinking about getting one, does anybody know which brands are good? (should I buy only wacom?)

Which tablet PCs do you have?

I don't know if Wacom's Cintiq is technically a Tablet-Pc because it's only a display - not the whole shebang.

But a Cintiq would be a better choice than a Tablet-PC.

Is it worth the $$$ ? - It's only a 12" display..

I've seen Rahll's video on it - have a look here

You could give it some time and get the big one (Citiq 21UX) in 6 months time...
It's twice the price - but if you have the money to buy a 12WX then saving is a great option.

The smaller one is just as great and will make your work look just as awesome, but there's always the fact that if you buy the big one, your sorted when and if you start working professionally.

just my thoughts.

Yeah - it's awesome for portability - but you can't use it away from a PC.

You get a nifty bag with it - as an extra option =)

OH SNAP! Just found something awesome.

Have a look-see.

Lenovo ThinkPad W700 review,

more detailed images.
http://gizmodo.com/5035828/lenovo-thinkpad-w700-has-a-built+in-wacom-tablet-and-professional-grade-screen

Totally the best option in the end if you want complete mobility without the fuss of a tablet and a pc or mac - not as cool as a tablet pc screen though..still looking for one - will let you know if I find an awesome tablet-pc - saw one a while back...brb

True I can't use it away from a PC which is the biggest downside...
That Lenovo looks good, but it's way too small.

thanks for all the help man =) really appreciate it
