im still using a graphire3 6x8, im waiting for a cable to come in the mail so I can use my new (old) ud-1212-r. the thing is enormous, 12x12, plus 2 inches all around, so 16x16 total. I can't wait.

so i finally got the adapter and serial cable i needed for the ud-1212-r. turns out my pen is busted. no matter how I adjust the drivers, it takes about 10 pounds of pressure to get it to pick it up. so I'm sticking with the 6x8 for now. new duoswitch pens are 50 + shipping, so I'll have to order one when I'm a little less poor.

you guys TABLETS SUCK ARMPIT get some thing real anything that leaves a mark even if it dosent (Sand, spit, poeple,etc) just photo/scan it all this digi rubbish is unessasary, insanely restrictive, no room for new mediums, blah blah blah, SORRY HAD TO GET THAT OUT OF MY SYSTEM I CANT USE THEM YOU LOT DO GOOD THINGS WITH THEM, but they do suck

intuos3 A4 size (its huge)

i think that tablets are great, cause you can keep all your works in one safe place
and you always can print what you did if you want it in a more "physical" form

i also paint (acrylics) when i want to do something big
and draw with charcoal pencils when im not near my tablet

I only use pens and pencils and maybe the odd stick of graphite or charcole. BUT NOTHING ELSE!!!
